Sammi and I are both feeling kinda burnt out at the moment, and we have a ton of stuff to get organised for the Sydney Supanova convention in June, so we’re going to take a short break from VD. I’m not sure whether or not I’ll continue to post drawings; we’ll see what happens. Just don’t be surprised if we go quiet for a few weeks. But rest assured we’ll try to keep you updated.

If you have a few hundred hours to spare you might want to take a peek at Jim Shooter’s blog. Best thing I’ve ever seen on the internet (with the possible exceptions of Valentine’s Dei and the Minus One comic. Whatever you think of Shooter you have to admit the man knows the comics book biz like no one else. From everything he writes, relates, critiques, comments on and mentions he would be the first to tell the two of you that you are doing it right. The main thing about telling a story is telling the story. The writing on this book is stellar and the art is at least as good, and both serve to enlighten, to entertain, and TO TELL THE STORY!! Your break is well deserved. Take as long as you need and don’t worry about pin up art or anything else. We’ll be here waiting for you.
Thanks buddy. As I always I really appreciate your support and kind words. And thanks for plugging Shooter’s blog; I just had a quick look and there’s definitely some interesting stuff there. I don’t know much about the guy, but his has been a recurring name ever since I got into comics as a kid, so yeah, I can’t help but respect the guy.
Sammi and I are actually cooking up something new, in addition to VD. Something more lighthearted. Hopefully it’ll come to fruition and we can successfully continue both that and VD simultaneously. But we’ll definitely keep you informed of any new developments.

some time has gone since this episodeof the story of Dom. And I am a bit curious: how are our beloved authors of this great series doing?
Don’t start to think I try to push you into continueing this magnificent story again, I am just wondering how you are. Nothing more, nothing less. For the rest of the story… I can be patient, vèry patient.
Hi Jan. We’re currently trying to navigate life’s obstacles, and at the same time get everything ready for our local convention, which is now only a week away. We’re hoping to pick up the print edition of chapter 4 this week so we can release it at the con. Hopefully once the con is all over things will be a little more relaxed and we’ll be able to make a start on chapter 5.
